.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 60 NM...
Northeast winds prevail over the waters through today with high
pressure sliding east across southern Canada. A developing nor'easter
near the Carolinas gradually tracks toward New England through
tonight and lingers south of New England through the weekend and
possibly into Monday of next week. The nor'easter is forecast to lift
northeast near or across the Gulf of Maine early next week before high
pressure returns toward midweek. A front may approach from the west
by late next week.
