High pressure will remain centered north of the Gulf of Maine through
the weekend. Meanwhile a nor'easter will continue meandering slowly
northeastward along the Gulf Stream. Between the two systems
northerly winds will become gusty by the late work week. Gales will
be possible on the coastal and outer waters. The nor'easter will also
continue swells and significant wave heights remaining above 5 feet.
