While  showers will mostly remain east of the coastal waters today it will  send a large swell through the Gulf and into the nearshore waters  today. A cold front will cross the waters tonight with a wind shift  to westerly. High pressure returns to start the week and will  dominate the weather for the foreseeable future.    $$
