Strong low pressure offshore approaches Long Island through early
Sunday, and will then linger into Sunday night and Monday south
of Long Island while gradually weakening. The low will move out
Monday night into Tuesday, eventually moving into the Gulf of
Maine. High pressure thereafter moves into place across the waters
into midweek.
