.Synopsis for the Long Island and Connecticut coastal waters...
Following a cold frontal passage early this morning, associated
low pressure will deepen while tracking up into the Canadian
Maritimes today. High pressure will then build in from the west
into Tuesday. The high weakens and shifts offshore as a weak
clipper low passes to the north Tuesday night. A much stronger low
will approach on Wednesday, passing to the north Wednesday night
into Thursday and sending a cold front through the area.
