   ANZ500-120800-  758 PM EDT Tue Aug 11 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    High pressure will be persistent off the east coast into the middle  of the week while a cold front gradually approaches from the north.  Daily thunderstorm chances continue for the remainder of the week.  Gusty winds and frequent cloud to ground lightning will be the  primary threats with any storms. The front may push to the south by  Friday night. Small Craft Advisories may be needed Friday night.    $$
