A front near the North Carolina/Virginia border will return north as
a warm front through tonight. High pressure will then persist near
and east of the region through the end of the week before a dry cold
front moves through late Friday. Behind the front Friday evening,
gusty winds could necessitate Small Craft Advisories. Another area
of high pressure will build from the Great Lakes to the Northeast
through the weekend while a frontal system gradually approaches from
the west.
