   ANZ500-290900-  935 PM EST Wed Feb 28 2024      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    A strong cold front will cross the waters this evening and bring  heavy rain and gusty winds. High pressure will return Thursday into  Friday before another low pressure system approaches from the south  this weekend. Unsettled conditions continue into early next week.  Small Craft Advisories may be needed through Friday. Gale conditions  are expected over the waters through early Thursday morning.    $$

Waves 4 ft. A  chance of rain late this evening with vsby 1 to 3 NM.  THU  NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts to 25 kt... diminishing to  5 to 10 kt late. Waves 2 to 3 ft.  THU NIGHT  N winds around 5 kt. Waves 1 ft or less.  FRI  SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft.  FRI NIGHT  SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft. Numerous showers.  SAT  NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft. Rain.  SAT NIGHT  N winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft.  SUN  N winds 5 to 10 kt...becoming E. Waves 1 ft.  MON  E winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft. A chance of rain after  midnight.    $$
