   ANZ500-120800-  458 PM EDT Thu Jun 11 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    A surface trough will linger near the Chesapeake Bay today.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, a  few of which could bring damaging winds gusts. A cold front brings  potential for more widespread severe thunderstorms Friday into  Friday night. Small Craft Advisories may be needed in the wake of  the front Friday night into Saturday morning, and then again in  southerly channeling on Sunday. Gusty winds and rain chances could  return Sunday afternoon.    $$
