   ANZ500-252300-  436 AM EDT Mon Oct 25 2021      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    A warm front continues to lift northward away from the region, while  a cold front to the west will cross through the area late tonight.  A strong area of low pressure forms on this front by Tuesday as the  system moves offshore. Small Craft Advisories may be needed Tuesday  and Wednesday where a Gale Watch is not already in effect. Another  frontal system approaches the Mid-Atlantic Thursday night which will  likely require additional Small Craft Advisories.    $$

Waves  2 ft.  TODAY  S winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts to 20 kt. Waves 2 ft.  TONIGHT  SE winds 10 kt...becoming NE late. Gusts up to 20 kt.  Waves 1 ft. Showers with a chance of tstms. Patchy fog. Vsby 1 NM or  less.  TUE  NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt... increasing to  30 kt in the afternoon. Waves 2 ft. Showers likely.  TUE NIGHT  NW winds 20 kt with gusts to 30 kt. Waves 3 ft. A  chance of showers.  WED  N winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts to 25 kt. Waves 2 ft.  WED NIGHT  N winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft.  THU  E winds 10 to 15 kt. Waves 1 to 2 ft. A chance of showers in  the evening. Showers likely after midnight.  FRI  E winds 10 to 15 kt...becoming S 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 to 2 ft.  Showers.    Winds and waves higher and visibilities lower in and near tstms.    $$
