   ANZ500-050900-  1218 PM EST Thu Dec 4 2025      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    A reinforcing cold front will cross the Mid-Atlantic this evening.  Low pressure will likely track offshore of the Carolinas into the  Atlantic Ocean Friday into Saturday, but there is considerable  uncertainty as to how far north the low and its associated  precipitation gets. High pressure briefly builds over the area this  weekend. A couple of clipper-like systems may affect the area  heading into early to mid next week. Small Craft Advisories will  likely be needed on Monday.    $$

Waves 2 ft.  TONIGHT  N winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts to 25 kt... becoming NE  10 to 15 kt late. Waves 1 to 2 ft. Snow likely.  FRI  NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft. Snow. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.  FRI NIGHT  N winds 5 kt. Waves flat. A chance of rain and snow.  Patchy fog.  SAT  W winds around 5 kt. Waves flat.  SAT NIGHT  NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft or less.  SUN  NW winds 5 to 10 kt...becoming SW in the evening, then  becoming NW 15 to 20 kt after midnight. Waves 1 to 2 ft.  MON  N winds 20 to 25 kt...becoming NE 5 to 10 kt after midnight.  Waves 1 to 2 ft.    $$
