   ANZ600-050715-  237 PM EDT Sat Apr 4 2026    .Synopsis for Fenwick Island DE to Currituck Beach Light NC out 20  nautical miles including Virginia portion of the Chesapeake Bay,  Currituck Sound and portions of the James, York, and Rappahannock  Rivers...    A slow moving cold front approaches from the NW later today  through tonight, allowing for strengthening S to SW winds across  the local waters. The front crosses the area Sunday afternoon,  with high pressure building over the region on Monday. A secondary  cold front pushes through early Tuesday.    $$

Showers with a chance of tstms in the afternoon.  SUN NIGHT  W winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming N 10 to 15 kt after  midnight. Waves around 1 foot, increasing to 1 to 2 ft after  midnight. Showers in the evening.  MON  N winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming W  5 kt in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 2 ft, diminishing to 1 foot or  less and light chop in the afternoon.  MON NIGHT  SW winds 5 to 10 kt.
