GMZ005-250930-  Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas  417 PM EST Mon Nov 24 2025      .SYNOPSIS...A continental high will gradually push offshore over  the next couple of days, resulting in freshening northeast to  east breezes. As the center of this high progresses eastward into  the western North Atlantic, breezes will collapse by midweek, as  the pressure field becomes nebulous. Probability is increasing  that a cold front will push southward through the Florida Keys  coastal waters later this week before stalling, resulting in what  appears to be the start of a prolonged period of freshened  northeast to easterly breezes through the weekend.    The Approximate Shoreward Edge of the Gulf Stream as of November  22...    35 NM South of Dry Tortugas Light...on Loggerhead Key.  12 NM South of Cosgrove Shoal Light...off the Marquesas Keys.  6 NM South of Sand Key Light...off Key West.  7 NM South of Looe Key...off Big Pine Key.  8 NM Southeast of Sombrero Key Light...off Marathon.  9 NM Southeast of Alligator Reef Light...off Islamorada.  3 NM Southeast of Molasses Reef Light...off Key Largo.  1 NM Southeast of Carysfort Reef Light...off Ocean Reef.    Gulf Stream Information Courtesy of the National Weather Service in  Key West based on products from NASA SPoRT.    $$
