   GMZ400-012115-  Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out  60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion Bay  254 AM CST Mon Mar 1 2021      .SYNOPSIS...  Areas of dense marine fog will continue through around noon as  the warm moist air passes atop the cooler shelf waters. A cold  front will move through the region later this afternoon and stall  offshore, bringing increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms  today through Tuesday evening. Moderate offshore flow will develop  behind the front, persisting into mid-week. marine fog is expected  to disperse behind the cold front as cooler and drier air moves  through the region.    $$

Showers likely in the  afternoon.  TONIGHT  Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Lake waters choppy.  Areas of fog in the evening. Rain showers likely through the  night. Slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight.  TUESDAY  North winds 10 to 15 knots. Lake waters choppy. Rain  showers likely in the morning. Slight chance of thunderstorms  through the day. Chance of rain showers in the afternoon.  TUESDAY NIGHT  North winds 10 to 15 knots. Lake waters choppy.  WEDNESDAY  North winds 5 to 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT  Northeast winds around 5 knots. Lake waters  smooth.  THURSDAY  East winds around 5 knots. Lake waters smooth.  THURSDAY NIGHT  Southeast winds around 5 knots. Lake waters  smooth.  FRIDAY  East winds 5 to 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop.  Slight chance of rain showers in the morning.
