   GMZ400-081515-  Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out  60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion Bay  847 PM CST Tue Dec 7 2021      .SYNOPSIS...  Northeast to east winds will gradually become southeast Wednesday  night as a stationary front moves back north and dissipates.  Patchy fog possible Wednesday morning, with areas of marine fog  possible Thursday morning. Intermittent chances of rain will be  possible this week as a series of upper level disturbances  affects the region. A stronger system is expected to bring better  chances of showers and thunderstorms Saturday.    $$

Bay waters choppy.  Patchy dense fog in the morning. Chance of rain showers in the  morning.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT  East winds 5 to 10 knots. Bay waters a light  chop.  THURSDAY  South winds 10 to 15 knots. Bay waters choppy. Chance  of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms.  THURSDAY NIGHT  South winds 10 to 15 knots. Bay waters choppy.  FRIDAY  South winds 15 to 20 knots. Bay waters rough. Slight  chance of showers in the afternoon.  FRIDAY NIGHT  South winds 15 to 20 knots. Bay waters rough.  Slight chance of showers in the evening, then chance of showers  and slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight.  SATURDAY  Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest  15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Bay waters choppy increasing to  rough in the afternoon. Showers likely and slight chance of  thunderstorms in the morning, then chance of showers in the  afternoon.  SATURDAY NIGHT  North winds 15 to 20 knots. Bay waters rough.  Slight chance of rain showers in the evening.  SUNDAY  Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Bay waters rough.  SUNDAY NIGHT  East winds 10 to 15 knots. Bay waters choppy.    $$
