   GMZ400-172130-  345 AM CDT Fri May 17 2024      .SYNOPSIS...  Widespread showers and thunderstorms will continue into Friday  night as a low pressure system moves across the area...winds and  seas could be significantly stronger in the vicinity of storms.  Winds will weaken by Friday afternoon with seas gradually falling  through the weekend. No precip is expected this weekend through  next week as light onshore flow prevails as high pressure moves  east of the region.    $$

Seas 2 to 3 feet. Wave  Detail: South 2 feet at 3 seconds. Patchy fog early this morning.  A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms until late  afternoon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms late.  TONIGHT  East winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming southeast after  midnight. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Wave Detail: South 1 foot at  4 seconds. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening,  then showers with thunderstorms likely after midnight.  SATURDAY  Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas around 2 feet.  Wave Detail: Southeast 1 foot at 2 seconds. A chance of showers.  Thunderstorms likely, mainly in the morning.  SATURDAY NIGHT  South winds around 5 knots, becoming east  around 5 knots after midnight.
