   GMZ500-GMZ501-120115-  623 AM CST Mon Dec 11 2023      .SYNOPSIS FOR PASCAGOULA TO ATCHAFALAYA RIVER OUT 60 NM...    Moderate to strong winds and rough seas will continue to improve  this morning as high pressure settles into the area. Another low  pressure system deepening over the central Gulf mid to late week  will increase easterly flow leading to a prolonged period of  hazardous marine conditions. Seas will once again turn rough as the  combination of wind waves and swell pushes seas to around 7 to 10  feet in the open Gulf waters.    $$
   GMZ530-120115-  Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas-  623 AM CST Mon Dec 11 2023    TODAY  Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots,  diminishing to 5 to 10 knots late this morning and early afternoon,  then becoming east early. Waves 2 to 3 feet this morning, then  1 foot or less.  TONIGHT  East winds 5 to 10 knots, increasing to 10 to 15 knots  with gusts up to 20 knots after midnight. Waves 1 foot or less, then  around 2 feet after midnight.  TUESDAY  East winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet.  TUESDAY NIGHT  Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to  25 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet.  WEDNESDAY  Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots, diminishing to 10 to  15 knots in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 3 feet.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT  Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to  35 knots. Waves around 3 feet.  THURSDAY  Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots, becoming east around  15 knots in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 3 feet.  THURSDAY NIGHT  Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet.  FRIDAY  East winds 15 to 20 knots. Waves around 3 feet. A slight  chance of showers in the afternoon.  FRIDAY NIGHT  Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Waves around 3 feet.  A slight chance of showers in the evening, then a chance of showers  after midnight.    $$
