   GMZ500-GMZ501-011800-  1226 AM CDT Mon Sep 1 2025      .SYNOPSIS FOR PASCAGOULA TO ATCHAFALAYA RIVER OUT 60 NM...    Daily thunderstorms remain the main issue over the marine areas,  primarily over the open coastal waters, as a nearly stationary front  lingers near the coastal waters. Expect brief bursts of stronger  winds and higher waves in and near storms. The boundary pushes  farther into the Gulf today, with offshore flow setting in behind it  and holding through midweek. Winds over the eastern waters could  increase to around 15 knots at times during the day the next couple  of days.    $$
