   GMZ500-GMZ501-051615-  941 PM CST Mon Mar 4 2024      .SYNOPSIS FOR PASCAGOULA TO ATCHAFALAYA RIVER OUT 60 NM...    Low pressure will pass east of the waters on Tuesday. Light westerly  winds can be expected behind the low pressure system starting  Tuesday night becoming easterly as high pressure settles in on  Wednesday night. By Friday morning, winds will shift from easterly to  southerly and strengthen once again ahead of another frontal system  that should stall inland by the weekend.    $$
   GMZ550-552-051615-  Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA  out 20 nm-  Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to  Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM-  941 PM CST Mon Mar 4 2024    DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST TUESDAY  SMALL CRAFT EXERCISE CAUTION IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING    OVERNIGHT  Southeast winds 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots.  Seas 2 to 3 feet. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Areas of dense  fog.  TUESDAY  Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming southwest 5 to  10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Showers and  thunderstorms likely, mainly in the morning. Patchy fog in the  morning.  TUESDAY NIGHT  West winds around 5 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Areas  of dense fog. Visibility 1 NM or less.  WEDNESDAY  North winds around 5 knots, becoming east in the  afternoon. Seas around 2 feet.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT  Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 1 to 2 feet.  THURSDAY  East winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.  THURSDAY NIGHT  Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to  25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet. A slight chance  of showers. A slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight.  FRIDAY  South winds around 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet,  occasionally to 6 feet. A chance of showers. A slight chance of  thunderstorms in the morning, then a chance of thunderstorms in the  afternoon.  FRIDAY NIGHT  Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet,  occasionally to 6 feet. A chance of showers and thunderstorms.  SATURDAY  Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. A  chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the morning.  SATURDAY NIGHT  North winds 10 to 15 knots, increasing to 15 to  20 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet.    Winds and seas higher in and near thunderstorms.    $$
