   GMZ500-GMZ501-100500-  1016 AM CST Sun Nov 9 2025      .SYNOPSIS FOR PASCAGOULA TO ATCHAFALAYA RIVER OUT 60 NM...    Early this morning, a strong cold front will push across the coastal  waters, bringing strong northerly/offshore winds of 20-25 knots  behind it, with gusts nearing Gale Force. The strongest of the winds  looks like it will be from midday Sunday through Monday night. These  winds will also promote 9-12 feet waves in our outer waters during  that same timeframe. A Small Craft Advisory is now in effect midday  Sunday through Monday night. A surface high starts filtering into  the area on Tuesday and light winds and calmer seas return with it.    $$

Seas 2 to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet.  Wave Detail: Northwest 4 feet at 4 seconds and southeast 1 foot at  5 seconds. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms late this  morning.  TONIGHT  North winds 25 to 30 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet,  occasionally to 6 feet. Wave Detail: North 4 feet at 4 seconds.  MONDAY  North winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Seas  3 to 5 feet, occasionally to 6 feet. Wave Detail: North 4 feet at  4 seconds.  MONDAY NIGHT  North winds 20 to 25 knots, becoming northeast 15 to  20 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet.  Wave Detail: North 3 feet at 4 seconds.  TUESDAY  Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots,  becoming southeast around 5 knots in the afternoon.
