A tropical wave slowly moving over the eastern Gulf will produce a
tightening pressure gradient with the flow shifting to south to
southwest over the weekend into early next week. Periods of
showers and thunderstorms are expected, with higher winds and
seas likely in and near thunderstorms through early next week.
