Freezing spray late.  Waves 6 to 10 feet building to 12 to 16 feet.  MONDAY  West gales to 40 knots becoming northwest to 35 knots.  Gusts up to 50 knot storms. Freezing spray in the morning.  Occasional snow showers. Waves 13 to 17 feet building to 15 to 20  feet.  MONDAY NIGHT  Northwest winds to 30 knots. Gusts up to 40 knot  gales. Snow showers likely in the evening, then a chance of snow  showers overnight. Waves 14 to 18 feet subsiding to 9 to 12 feet.  TUESDAY  Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. Gusts up  to 30 knots. Mostly cloudy. Waves 7 to 10 feet subsiding to 3 to  6 feet.    The water temperature at St. Joseph and at Michigan City is 37  degrees.    $$
