   PHZ100-161430-  332 PM HST Tue Jan 15 2019    .Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...  A ridge of high pressure just north of the islands will keep  light winds in place through tonight. A front will approach from  the northwest on Wednesday, then move down the island chain  Thursday through Friday, with moderate to strong southerly winds  ahead of it and fresh to strong north to northeasterly winds  behind it. The combination of a large short-period northwest swell  and shifting winds will produce rough seas Thursday into Friday.    $$
   PHZ111-161430-  Kauai Windward Waters-  332 PM HST Tue Jan 15 2019    SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY  MORNING    TONIGHT  Winds variable less than 10 knots. Wind waves 2 feet  or less. Northwest swell 12 feet.  WEDNESDAY  Southeast winds 10 knots. Wind waves 2 feet or less.  Northwest swell 9 feet.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT  South winds 15 knots. Wind waves 4 feet.  Northwest swell 7 feet. Isolated showers in the evening, then  scattered showers after midnight.  THURSDAY  Southwest winds 20 knots. Wind waves 6 feet.  Northwest swell 6 feet increasing to 9 feet in the afternoon.  Scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then  heavy showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Some  thunderstorms may produce gusty winds.  THURSDAY NIGHT  Northwest winds 20 knots. Wind waves 5 feet.  Northwest swell 10 feet. Scattered heavy showers and  thunderstorms in the evening, then isolated showers after  midnight. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds in the  evening.  FRIDAY  Northeast winds 15 knots. Wind waves 4 feet. Northwest  swell 9 feet. Isolated showers.  FRIDAY NIGHT  East winds 15 knots. Wind waves 3 feet. North  swell 9 feet. Isolated showers.  SATURDAY  Southeast winds 15 knots. Wind waves 4 feet. North  swell 6 to 8 feet. Isolated showers.  SUNDAY  South winds 10 knots. Wind waves 4 feet. Northwest  swell 4 to 5 feet. Isolated showers.    $$
