The shallow front  will reach Kauai by tonight, then bring moderate northwest to  north winds as it moves down the island chain into Saturday  morning. High pressure will build in behind the front this weekend  will increase trade winds into the fresh to strong range.      $$

Isolated  showers.  TONIGHT  Winds variable less than 10 knots, becoming west  northwest 7 to 10 knots after midnight. Seas 4 to 5 feet,  building to 5 to 8 feet after midnight. Wave Detail: Northwest  7 feet at 20 seconds. Scattered showers.  FRIDAY  Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 8 to 10 feet,  building to 11 to 13 feet in the afternoon. Wave Detail:  Northwest 12 feet at 17 seconds and south 4 feet at 17 seconds.  Scattered showers, mainly in the morning.  FRIDAY NIGHT  North winds 10 to 15 knots.
