Breezy trades will preceed strengthening northeast winds
associated with the approach of Tropical Storm Lala, located about
385 nm east-southeast of Hilo at 11 PM HST and moving west-
northwest at 9 knots. Hurricane conditions are expected around
the Big Island beginning Friday night with Tropical Storm
conditions possible around Maui County starting on Saturday.
