   PHZ100-151415-  344 PM HST Sat Mar 14 2026    .Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...  A powerful kona storm will continue to bring heavy rain,  thunderstorms, and rough seas to the Hawaiian coastal waters for  the rest of the weekend. Gale-force winds will continue over the  central and eastern waters into Sunday, in addition to bands of  heavy showers and thunderstorms pushing eastward across the  forecast area.    $$

Wave Detail: South southwest 9 feet at 7 seconds and  west northwest 7 feet at 10 seconds. Scattered heavy showers with  isolated thunderstorms.  SUNDAY  West winds to 20 knots. Seas 9 to 11 feet, subsiding to  7 to 10 feet in the afternoon. Wave Detail: South southwest  8 feet at 7 seconds and west northwest 8 feet at 11 seconds.  Numerous heavy showers with isolated thunderstorms.  SUNDAY NIGHT  West southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 6 to  9 feet, subsiding to 5 to 7 feet after midnight. Wave Detail:  West northwest 7 feet at 10 seconds and south southeast 5 feet at  5 seconds. Numerous  showers.  MONDAY NIGHT  West northwest winds to 15 knots, becoming west  southwest 7 to 10 knots after midnight. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Wave  Detail: North northwest 6 feet at 11 seconds, west southwest  3 feet at 4 seconds and south 3 feet at 18 seconds. Numerous  showers.  TUESDAY  West winds 7 to 10 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Wave  Detail: North northwest 6 feet at 11 seconds. Scattered showers.  TUESDAY NIGHT  Winds variable less than 10 knots. Seas 5 to  7 feet. Wave Detail: North 7 feet at 14 seconds and south 3 feet  at 16 seconds. Scattered showers.  WEDNESDAY  South southeast winds 7 to 10 knots, veering to  south 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon and evening, veering to  west southwest after midnight. Seas 5 to 8 feet. Wave Detail:  North 7 feet at 13 seconds, south 4 feet at 15 seconds and south  3 feet at 4 seconds. Scattered showers through the night, then  numerous showers through the day.  THURSDAY  Winds variable less than 10 knots, becoming east  northeast 7 to 10 knots in the afternoon, rising to 15 to  20 knots.
