.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A surface high will remain far north of the Hawaiian Islands
through the week. At 500 AM, Hurricane Lowell was centered about
140 nm northwest of Lihue, moving north at 16 kt. The Hurricane
Warning has been canceled for the coastal waters west of Kauai,
and the Tropical Storm Warning has been canceled for waters
elsewhere near Kauai and Oahu. Southerly winds will diminish
today, becoming light by tonight. Gentle to moderate easterly
trade winds return mid- week through the weekend.
