A series of  large northwest swells will move through this week. A front is  expected to pass through the islands toward the end of the week.    $$
   PHZ113-220745-  Kauai Channel-  930 AM HST Mon Jan 21 2019    REST OF TODAY  South winds 15 knots. Wind waves 4 feet.  Northwest swell 4 feet. Isolated showers.  TONIGHT  South winds 10 knots backing east after midnight. Wind  waves 3 feet. Mixed swell northwest 5 feet and east 3 feet.  TUESDAY  East winds 10 knots in the morning becoming variable  less than 10 knots. Wind waves 3 feet in the morning then 2 feet  or less. Northwest swell 6 feet and east 3 feet. Isolated showers  in the morning.  TUESDAY NIGHT  Winds variable less than 10 knots. Wind waves  2 feet or less. Northwest swell 9 feet and east 3 feet.  WEDNESDAY  East winds 10 knots. Wind waves 2 feet or less.  Northwest swell 9 feet and east 3 to 4 feet. Isolated showers in  the morning.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT  Winds variable less than 10 knots. Wind waves  2 feet or less. Northwest swell 10 feet and east 4 feet.  THURSDAY  Winds variable less than 10 knots becoming north  10 knots after midnight. Wind waves 3 feet. Northwest swell 9 to  10 feet and east 4 feet. Isolated showers.  FRIDAY  Northeast winds 15 knots. Wind waves 3 feet. Northwest  swell 9 to 10 feet and east 3 to 4 feet. Isolated showers.    $$
