.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
Aside from a brief increase in winds near Kauai and Oahu late
Saturday, gentle to moderate trade winds will prevail for the
next several days as a deep surface low passes far north of
Hawaii tonight then drifts about 800 to 900 nm northeast of the
islands Saturday through Monday. An area of low pressure is
expected to move over the islands from the southwest on Tuesday,
bringing variable winds and the potential for heavy showers and
thunderstorms.
