.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
Strong to near gale force trade winds and large, rough seas will
gradually decrease tonight as Hurricane Nolo moves westward over
300 n mi south of Kauai. Winds and seas will continue to gradually
decline on Monday as Nolo turns toward the northwest. Fresh to
strong winds will veer out of the southeast Monday night through
Tuesday night as Nolo passes west of Kauai. Nolo is forecast to
move farther away to the west on Wednesday and Thursday, allowing
winds to diminish and back out of the east.
