A surface low is located north of the islands with a pair of
troughs draped over the region. Bands of heavy showers and
thunderstorms will continue to move over the coastal waters into
Sunday. The low will lift northeast of the region on Sunday, and
strong high pressure will build far north of the islands Monday
and Tuesday.
