.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
Aside from a brief increase in winds accompanying a band of
shallow showers as it works its way down the island chain
overnight, gentle to moderate trade winds will prevail for the
next several days as a broad surface low to the far northeast dips
south to around 800 nm northeast of the islands by Monday. Another
area of low pressure is expected to move over the islands from the
southwest on Tuesday, bringing variable winds and the potential
for heavy showers and thunderstorms through midweek.
