   PHZ100-170200-  340 AM HST Fri Jan 16 2026    .Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...  A high pressure system to the northwest will move east for the  next few days and bring stable breezy to locally strong trade  winds. By late Sunday into early next week, winds are expected to  weaken and veer southerly again ahead of another cold front.  Current long range guidance shows this next cold front could  approach the western coastal waters by the middle of next week.    $$

Isolated light showers this morning.  TONIGHT  East northeast winds 25 to 30 knots, veering to east  20 to 25 knots after midnight. Seas 6 to 9 feet, subsiding to  5 to 7 feet after midnight.
