.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Northerly winds will
increase to gale strength this morning for most of the area
waters, Small craft advisory for the northern inners. A short
period NW swell will build during the day and peak near 12 to 14
feet by Thu evening. Conditions will settle down on Fri before
southerlies increase to gales Fri night. Storm and near hurricane
force winds are forecast Sat through Sun. Extremely dangerous and
very large waves capable of capsizing and damaging vessels are
forecast by Sat night and Sun.
