.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Northerly winds are
expected to gradually increase through the end of the week into
the weekend. Localized gales are possible as early as Saturday
afternoon downwind of Point St. George and Cape Mendocino. Steep
short period seas will accompany these strong winds. More
widespread coverage of gale force winds is expected on Saturday
night and Sunday. Strong winds are predicted to continue into
early next week. Mid to late week the stronger winds will
gradually push farther off the coast.
