.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Local southerly winds
persist in the northern waters this afternoon ahead of the front.
These will switch to the northwest this evening as the front
moves through and increase to gentle to moderate breezes by
Saturday afternoon. These are expected to continue to increase to
near- gale or gale force south of Cape Mendocino by Sunday
afternoon.
