AMZ100-220915-  402 PM EDT Tue Jul 21 2026    .Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...  Hazardous marine conditions have built across all the waters this  afternoon and will persist into Thursday as a mix of small crafts  and gales are currently noted across the area out ahead of an  approaching cold front. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are  forecast along and just south of the aforementioned frontal  boundary as well. Gales are currently relegated to the far outer  coastal waters 20+ NM north of Ocracoke Inlet. These hazardous  conditions will remain in place until the previously mentioned  front stalls across the region on Thurs. Once front stalls, expect  N-NEerly winds N of the boundary, S-SW S of the boundary. But  boating conditions do improve through the weekend.    $$
