.Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters...
An area of low-pressure moves over the south coastal waters this
afternoon through tomorrow with showers and thunderstorms. Winds
associated with this system will be out of the south at 15-20 knots
with some 25 knot gusts possible through Tuesday morning. Winds
shift to the west/northwest Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night as
low-pressure exits east. This will be followed by realtively
calm/quiet conditions across the coastal waters for Wednesday and
Thursday.
