Large high pres will remain anchored in the vicinity of Quebec right
into this weekend. At the same time, a slow moving and intensifying
nor'easter will linger near srn New England. While its exact track
and timing remains uncertain, dangerous conditions are expected for
mariners Fri through this weekend. Peak NE wind gusts of 35 to 60 kt
with maximum seas of 15-25 feet across the open waters are expected.
Mariners should keep up to date with the latest forecasts and be
