   ANZ300-081415-  959 PM EDT Fri May 7 2021    .Synopsis for the Long Island Waters and New York Harbor...  A trough of low pressure west of the region moves slowly east  tonight into Saturday night as high pressure to the northeast  weakens. The trough dissipates toward Sunday morning as weak high  pressure briefly builds to the west. A warm front and associated  low pressure system will approach the region Sunday and Sunday  night, and move east of the area on Monday. High pressure will  then build into the region for the middle of the week. Another  storm system approaches for late in the week.    $$

Waves 1 ft or less.  SAT  NE winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SE in the afternoon. Waves  1 ft or less. Chance of showers in the afternoon.  SAT NIGHT  W winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft or less. Chance of  showers in the evening.  SUN  W winds around 10 kt, becoming SW with gusts up to 20 kt  in the afternoon. Waves 1 ft or less.  SUN NIGHT  S winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Waves  1 ft or less. Rain.  MON  SW winds 5 to 10 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming NW in  the afternoon. Waves 1 ft or less. Rain, mainly in the morning.  MON NIGHT  W winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming NW 10 to 15 kt with  gusts up to 20 kt after midnight. Waves 1 ft or less. Chance of  rain in the evening.  TUE  NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Waves 1 ft or  less.  TUE NIGHT  NW winds around 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt.
