.Synopsis for the Long Island and Connecticut coastal waters...
Strong high pressure will gradually build in from the west through
Monday. The high weakens Monday into Monday night, as it moves
across the local waters. The high moves offshore Tuesday. A frontal
system then approaches Tuesday and eventually moves across Tuesday
night. Associated low develops well offshore midweek and moves
farther out into the Atlantic. High pressure makes a slow return
from the north and west thereafter.
