.Synopsis for the Long Island and Connecticut coastal waters...
High pressure off the northeast coast continues to move into the
Northern Atlantic tonight as a low pressure system moves into
southern Canada. This low will bring a cold front across the
forecast waters late Thursday night into Friday morning. A large
dome of high pressure settles over the waters for much of the
weekend before pushing offshore Sunday night. A warm front lifts
north of the waters on Monday.
