.SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...
A warm front lifts north across the waters early this morning. A
strong cold front crosses the area this evening. A line of strong to
severe thunderstorms is expected to cross the waters this afternoon
to evening. Dangerous wind gusts in excess of 50 knots and
waterspouts are possible. High pressure returns for the middle to
latter portions of the week. Small Craft Advisories will likely be
needed through Tuesday. Gale conditions are also possible through
tonight.
