   ANZ500-132000-  1057 AM EDT Thu Aug 13 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    A stationary frontal boundary will remain off to the south near the  Virginia-North Carolina border through tonight. This system returns  northward as a warm front Friday which increases thunderstorm  chances. High pressure builds across the northeastern U.S on  Saturday before another frontal system approaches from the west on  Sunday into Monday. Small Craft Advisories may be needed late Sunday  due to southerly channeling.    $$
