   ANZ500-240800-  757 PM EDT Tue Jun 23 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    A low pressure system will track across the area this afternoon.  Heavy showers and possible strong to severe thunderstorms will  develop over central and southern Virginia and move toward the Tidal  Potomac and central and southern Chesapeake Bay through early this  evening. Special Marine Warnings may be needed within the next 4 to  6 hours over the waters. High pressure builds into the area tonight  and early Thursday supporting fair weather conditions. Another area  of low pressure will track across the area over the weekend bringing  additional showers and thunderstorms.    $$
