   ANZ500-130800-  227 PM EDT Wed Aug 12 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...    A stationary frontal boundary will remain off to the south near the  Virginia-North Carolina border into Thursday. This system returns  northward as a warm front by Friday which increases thunderstorm  chances. High pressure builds across the northeastern U.S on  Saturday before another frontal system approaches from the west on  Sunday into early next week. Small Craft Advisories may be needed on  Sunday evening into the night due to southerly channeling.    $$
