   GMZ001-151500-  Synopsis for the Gulf of America  953 PM EST Sat Feb 14 2026      .SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly return flow prevails over  the western waters ahead of a cold front that will enter the NW  Gulf waters by Sun night. Strong S to SW winds and rough seas  are expected in the N-central and NE Gulf ahead of this frontal  system on Sun. The front is forecast to move SE of the area by  Mon afternoon, with winds and seas decreasing. High pres will  build in the wake of the front. Gentle to moderate winds with  slight to moderate seas will prevail by midweek.    $$

N of 24N, SE to  S winds 20 to 25 kt, becoming S 10 kt early in the morning. Seas  4 to 6 ft.  SUN  S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to W to NW early in  the evening. Seas 3 to 5 ft.  SUN NIGHT  N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.  MON  N to NE winds 10 kt in the late morning and early  afternoon, becoming variable less than 5 kt.
