GMZ005-140930-  Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas  430 PM EST Fri Feb 13 2026      .SYNOPSIS...A nebulous pressure pattern across the coastal waters  of the Florida Keys will support light and at times variable  breezes through this evening and early overnight. Thereafter, high  pressure diving off the Mid- Atlantic coastline will interact  with a developing area of low pressure north of the Gulf Coast  Sunday, supporting freshening east to southeast breezes. The low  pressure system will nudge a frontal boundary through the Keys  Monday evening. A potent surge of northerly breezes is not  expected in the wake of this front. Behind this front, breezes  will slacken appreciably as the next high pressure slides into the  eastern Gulf Basin.    The Approximate Shoreward Edge of the Gulf Stream as of February  11...    15 NM South of Dry Tortugas Light...on Loggerhead Key.  9 NM South of Cosgrove Shoal Light...off the Marquesas Keys.  10 NM South of Sand Key Light...off Key West.  17 NM South of Looe Key...off Big Pine Key.  20 NM Southeast of Sombrero Key Light...off Marathon.  18 NM Southeast of Alligator Reef Light...off Islamorada.  8 NM Southeast of Molasses Reef Light...off Key Largo.  4 NM Southeast of Carysfort Reef Light...off Ocean Reef.    Gulf Stream Information Courtesy of the National Weather Service in  Key West based on products from NASA SPoRT and RTOFS.    $$
