.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.
Light to moderate onshore flow should continue for the next
several days with Gulf seas of 2 to 4 feet. Isolated to widely
scattered showers are expected today and tomorrow. A weak frontal
boundary may enhance shower and thunderstorm chances somewhat on
Saturday. Winds on Saturday may generally become lighter and
potentially more variable. The next weather system will move into
the area sometime Monday, bringing another chance of showers and
storms. Onshore winds increase ahead of the system, potentially
warranting caution flags on Monday.
