Gusts up to 25 knots. A  chance of showers and thunderstorms early. Waves 2 to 3 feet.  WEDNESDAY  Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast and  increasing to 15 to 20 knots. Gusts up to 35 knot gales. A chance  of showers in the morning, then showers with thunderstorms likely  in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT  Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west.  Gusts up to 30 knots. Showers with thunderstorms likely in the  evening. Some thunderstorms may be severe. Waves 1 to 3 feet  building to 3 to 5 feet.  THURSDAY  West winds 15 to 25 knots diminishing to 10 to  15 knots. Gusts up to 35 knot gales. Partly sunny. Waves 3 to  6 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.    Winds and waves higher in and near thunderstorms.    The water temperature at St. Joseph is 66 degrees and at Michigan  City is 56 degrees.    $$
