   PHZ100-170815-  959 AM HST Sun Dec 16 2018    .Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...  High pressure north of the state will maintain moderate to  locally strong trade winds through Monday, with some weakening  late Monday and Tuesday. A front will make its way down the  island chain late Tuesday into Wednesday and will bring strong  northeast winds. A large northwest swell will continue to fill in  today, rapidly building seas in excess of 10 feet in waters  exposed to the swell.    $$

Isolated showers.  TUESDAY NIGHT  North winds 20 knots. Wind waves 7 feet.  Northwest swell 13 feet. Scattered showers.  WEDNESDAY  Northeast winds 20 knots. Wind waves 6 to 7 feet.  Northwest swell 11 to 13 feet. Scattered showers.  THURSDAY  East winds 15 knots. Wind waves 5 feet. Northwest  swell 8 to 10 feet. Isolated showers.    $$
