   PZZ500-051615-  859 PM PDT Fri Sep 4 2026    .Synopsis for the Central California Coast and Bays Including  the Monterey Bay...Greater Farallones...and Cordell Bank National  Marine Sanctuaries...    West to northwest breezes will be gentle to moderate through the  beginning of next week. There will be occasionally moderate to  strong breezes across the San Pablo, San Francisco and Monterey  Bays by the end of the weekend into the beginning of next week.  Long period southerly swell has arrived with the Point Sur Buoy  registering 18 second period early this afternoon out of the SSW.  The long period southerly swell will continue through the weekend  into the beginning of next week.    $$

Waves are also more prone to break,  particularly during strong ebb currents. Maximum ebb current of  3.0 kt at 10:15 PM Friday and 1.0 kt at 12:20 PM Saturday.    $$
