A trough  will build along the California coast today, persist tonight into  early Wed, then weaken by Wed night. High pressure will  intensify well W of the waters today, then persist tonight  through early Thu, before weakening Thu night. A cold front will  approach the N waters Thu night then dissipate Fri across the  central waters. Another trough will form along the coast Fri  night as high pressure builds N and W of the area Fri night into  Sat night.    $$
