High pressure will build NW of the waters today into  tonight before shifting farther N. A trough will form along the  California coast today, persist through Sun, then shift N along  the coast Sun night into Mon night. The trough will weaken Tue  and Tue night. A cold front will slowly move over the N waters  Wed into Wed night.    $$
