...PATCHY DENSE SEA FOG ACROSS THE LOWER SC AND GA NEARSHORE
WATERS THIS AFTERNOON...

In the wake of a cold front, areas of fog and drizzle has
developed across the lower SC and SE GA nearshore waters this
afternoon. Some fog may become locally dense until 3 PM, reducing
visibility to less than a half mile. Visibility is expected to
gradually improve late this afternoon, but lingering fog may keep
visibility limited to 1 to 3 miles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care. If you must
navigate in these conditions, proceed with caution. Use proper
fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all navigational
running lights are on.

Please relay any reports of sea fog to the Charleston or Tybee
Island Coast Guard stations and ask them to immediately forward
your report to the National Weather Service in Charleston.
