This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT Thunderstorms: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are still possible through this evening. Main concerns from the strongest storms will be lightning strikes, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall. Flooding: Potential impacts from any heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding on urban and/or poor drainage areas across South Florida. Wind: A few of the stronger storms today may be capable of producing wind gust in excess of 40 mph. Rip Currents: There is a moderate risk of rip currents along the Palm Beaches. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY Scattered to locally numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue through the remainder of the week. A few strong storms will be possible with gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning. The highest chances of thunderstorms will be late in the week with a return to a more typical summer pattern forecast by late in the weekend and into early part of next week. The risk of rip currents will be increasing across the Atlantic Coast Beaches towards the end of the week and for the upcoming holiday weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
