This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms, particularly across
interior and western Puerto Rico. Stay alert and be prepared to
take shelter if storms develop.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas, particularly across interior and west PR. There is
a low chance of localized urban and small streams flooding.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone. These life- threatening conditions are possible across
across northern and eastern-exposed beaches, with isolated
stronger rip currents possible elsewhere, especially near piers,
jetties and channels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A limited flood threat is forecast for tomorrow Tuesday,
increasing to elevated by mid-week as a polar trough moves over
the region. There is a slight chance of thunderstorm formation
early this week, with the likelihood increasing by the middle of
the week. The risk of rip currents will remain high through at
least midweek.
