This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible,
mainly in the afternoon. Plan to stop all outdoor activity and
move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly across northern Puerto Rico and Culebra.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Well-above normal moisture content and unstable conditions will
support thunderstorm development in the next couple of days,
maintaining the potential for excessive rainfall and lightning
hazard risks. Meanwhile, southeasterly winds and high-moisture
environment will yield excessive heat hazard risks. A moderate rip
current risk will persist through Thursday, then return (along with
a high risk) on Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
