This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of USVI.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms are possible. Stay alert and
be prepared to take shelter if storms develop.

.Excessive Rainfall...Very localized ponding of water is possible
on roads and in poorly drained areas where convection persists.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone. These dangerous conditions are possible along east- and
north-facing beaches of St. Croix, with isolated stronger rip
currents elsewhere across the USVI, especially near piers,
jetties, and channels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The risk of rip currents will drop to moderate on Friday and low
on Saturday, then increase back to moderate early next week, with
life- threatening conditions possible in moderate-risk areas. A
limited non- thunderstorm wind risk is possible across the local
waters and exposed coastal areas early next week. Increasing winds
and incoming northerly swells may also generate hazardous seas
for small craft by Tuesday and Wednesday, which could further
elevate rip current risk during that period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
