This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Freezing Warnings are in effect for King George, Saint Mary`s,
and Calvert Counties. Elsewhere, the growing season has ended.

Gale Warnings are in effect for the entire Chesapeake Bay, the
adjoining tributaries, as well as the lower tidal Potomac River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Freeze Warnings continue until 9 AM Tuesday.

Gale Warnings are in effect on Tuesday from 6 AM until 6 PM for
the tidal Potomac River from Key Bridge to Cobb Island. Elsewhere,
Gale Warnings continue through 6 PM Tuesday.

  kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 2 to 4 ft. For the Gale
  Warning, west winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and
  waves 2 to 4 ft expected.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay main channel north of Smith Point VA,
  Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA, Chester
  River to Queenstown MD, Eastern Bay, Choptank River to
  Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River, and Tangier Sound
  and the inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until midnight EST
  tonight. For the Gale Warning, from midnight tonight to 6 PM
  EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels.
