Through 900 PM, a large cluster of showers and thunderstorms will continue to race west to northwestward at 20 to 25 knots, mainly in the vicinity of the Middle Keys and eastward. Mariners encountering the activity should expect gusty and erratic winds up to near 30 knots, persistent cloud to surface lightning strikes, and blinding downpours. Information regarding stronger activity will be found in the Marine Weather Statements or Special Marine Warnings as needed. Island communities along the Lower to Middle Keys may see additional rainfall amounts of up to one quarter of an inch. $$
