.NOW...
Through 830 am, a line of showers and embedded thunderstorms will
continue to move southeast to south at around 10 knots across the
Lower and Middle Keys, and the waters of the outer southeastern Gulf
north and west of the Lower Keys, as well as the nearshore Bayside
and Gulfside waters and Hawk Channel near the Lower and Middle Keys.
Additional showers over these areas and the western Florida Straits
are moving northeastward and being absorbed by the main line. Any of
these showers will be capable of producing heavy downpours limiting
visibility, wind gusts of 25 knots, and occasional lightning strikes.
Island locations may receive up to half an inch to an inch of rain,
particularly in the Lower Keys.
